Shoulder Overhang
Apparently, Cramer does not utilize the CNBC stylists. That “big brother’s hand-me-down” jacket silhouette is not a good look on any executive. It’s a common issue with off-the-rack suits—especially when your wife does the shopping for you.
A man’s jacket should follow the natural slope of his shoulders, with the seam sitting exactly at the edge of the shoulder bone rather than drooping visibly past it, as we see on Cramer. When fitted correctly, the shoulder line creates a clean, uninterrupted drape with no gaps, wrinkles, or divots. This gives the jacket structure and authority while allowing the arms to move freely without the fabric pulling or hanging loose. Anything less and the whole garment instantly gives you a “license to lose” with a sloppy and underpowered look.
